| I hooked up on your site last year and I made a really good friend which we see each other now again for coffee. Just lately I joined again and I met the women of my dreams. We are best friends and want to spend our lives together. I want to thank-you so much for providing this site as I feel that I have found true love. | I have just sat here with my wife on the 4 year anniversary of our first meeting and read our first messages to each other sent on FSO. In March 2008, I sent my first message to *SURPRISE*ME*. A month later, we met for the first time. Something between us just clicked, and at the end of the evening (even after being busted in the carpark at 1.00am by our local Constable) we both knew we were onto something awesome. 8 months later we brought a house together and on 17th March 2012, with the support of our closest family and friends, we got married in the garden at our home. Yes we have had our share of hurdles to cross, especially when it comes to combining 2 families, but we finally made it to that point in our relationship where we wanted to be husband and wife. Thanks FSO - without your site, we wouldn't have found our special someone. |

| I?m a firm believer in destiny, the right thing at the right time, quite open minded, sighs and gut feelings kinda follower and it?s amazing how things just kind of happen...I was bored watching the bachelor on telly (of all things to be watching lol) But yes, it got me thinking well people meet in all sorts of weird and wonderful ways...I won't lie internet dating is not my thing, but for some reason I just felt like I HAD to try it and I had to try it NOW, so much so that I got up that second and Googled "singles websites NZ " and up popped FindSomeone...and a few others, but I was drawn to FindSomeone for some reason. At more or less the same time the man of my dreams signed up and about an hour after I had set up my profile I got a smile from him. We got chatting...soon met up and although we have only been together for 3 months it has been the best three months of my life thus far, I thought I had been in love before, even asked a few people how you know if it?s real or not? The answer I got was well I don?t think you have to ask yourself if its real, if it is you will just know (if that makes any sense at all) so to cut a long story short I don?t need to ask for the first time in my life I just know :)...so a big thank you to FindSomeone for changing my life, and proving that amazing things still happen when you least expect it :) |

| In August 2007, I joined FindSomeone on a whim, dreamimg to meet someone lovely, but doubted I would. It wasn't long before a smile arrived, furious emails, phonecalls and texts, and a planeride down to chch to meet me. It was a long 5 weeks waiting to meet in person, this someone who I was already somewhat smitten with. We were both anxious to see that we would get on in person, and hey, countless planerides over a few years, (yes, we managed long distance meeting every 4 weeks) and we are moving into our first house in 3weeks, and getting married in 7. Who would have known My special someone lived in Auckland, I would never have met the man of my dreams without FindSomeone. Thankyou! |

| I would like to share the story of when Roy met Shu. After sending each other a smile back in early 2009, I then became a gold member just so I could send her a message. The reply I got back was her phone number, and we met a couple of days later. Straight away we both felt that there was something special. The feeling was so strong that within a month or so, she moved in with me. On the 5th of November 2011 we got married and the wedding was fantastic. We both came from a similar background from broken marriages and yet a world apart. She's from China and I'm a Kiwi. She is now my wlfe and also my best friend. Thank you to the "FindSomeone" website.... I'm the happiest guy around. |

| Having never really 'dated' before, being in my 40s and out of a long term relationship I nervously tried this 'internet dating'. A bit like real dating, I shyly sent smiles to begin with, got my confidence and paid for a membership and started chatting with people, and found the message boards and the community that is FSO. I met with some people as 'dates', went to some group events and met lots of like minded people. Lots of these people I count as friends now. I learned heaps along the way about myself and what I do and dont want in a person and in a relationship. Tough criteria as only 2 people made it passed the first date. One of those people I had been aware of on the message boards and hadnt thought of them as potential partner material - they lived in a different city to me and shorter. I thought that was important! After the natural support this person gives was shown to me in a supportive way when I was having a moan on the message boards .... well, we have been together over 3 and a half years now, engaged and we will be married next January. |

| Well I have to say that this site is an absolute winner. I met the most wonderful lady in every true sense of the word throughout it. She and I share the same interests in outdoor pursuits and the will to travel and expand our minds. Their was instant chemistry and attraction on both side from the moment we met. I could not have dreamed of a more perfect match. I did not think it was possible to find someone so wonderful but it has happened. And it happened entirely because of this site. So for the doubters and/or non-believers, this site does work and if you are patient, you will find your someone, take it from me because I did. |

| I originally joined 'FindSomeone' thinking I'd maybe get to go on a couple of dates to show me the sights of NZ, as I'd just relocated here from the UK. Well, the website certainly lived up to it's name, as after a few months, I found my 'someone'. We've been very happy for 5 years, married for 2, and are currently expecting our second baby. So, if you're thinking about giving internet dating a go, I'd say "just go for it" - you have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain! |

| Thanks to FindSomeone I have met the love of my life and I'm so happy!! she's 18 and I'm 20, just started on the site to see what's out there and messaged her to flick me a txt, got talking and had our first date and it was amazing and after 3 months she's moving in :) so happy and thanks so much to FindSomeone!!! |

| Thanks to FindSomeone, I am now happily married and we are expecting our first child any day now. We met online 7/2/09, and met in person 8/2/09. Our first date was lunch at a local restaurant- which last for 8 hours and ended up being dinner too! It was the best date of my life and I shared with friends afterwards that I felt I had met my future husband. We moved in together March 09 (I moved into his place), travelled to Fiji April 09, May 09 bought our stunning engagement ring, July 09 got engaged (he proposed when I least expected it) and travelled around Europe for 3 months (which was amazing!), April 10 - we were married and had the most gorgeous wedding ever, May 10 - fell pregnant and now we are expecting our first baby (which is a girl!). Thank you so much FindSomeone. I have met the love of my life, my best friend, a wonderful companion and now we are to be a family together. We are both sooooo happy! |

| I was a member of FSO, doing it just for fun. When I was asked for a date, I had heaps of excuses not to meet up, but within me I was longing to find my right guy. I prayed and even bargained to God if He can give my man before Christmas (Dec. 25) or before my birthday (Dec. 29) 2009. Since it was x-mas time I gave myself a chance for a date.. Yes God is so good, I found my man a day before my b-day. He is a European and I'm an Asian. After 2 months of dating, we moved in together. Before Christmas and before my birthday 2010. I got another significant person in my life...that was our gorgeous baby girl. Together infront of a Christmas tree portrayed a young and happy family. | I had been on FindSomeone for approximately 2 years in an off and on relationship with the site :) I was just about to go offline for good, when I was sent a smile; I thought I would have a look-see for old times sake. She was Asian where I am part Maori (I am female btw) and I my interest was instantly piqued, I sent a message back and we made a time to chat a day later; we have since not stopped talking and laughing, I cannot believe I have met the women of my dreams. It is 10 months later and we are going strong, regardless of our cultural differences and same sex taboos that we have to deal with every day; always in a humourous way. | Within a few weeks on FindSomeone, I met Brian (1st guy that I dated) playing Tennis ....anyways 9 months later Brian popped the question in Porto, Portugal en route in our travels in Europe and we got married last weekend. I know of two other girlfriends who have also married so I'm sure the three of us want to say thank you FindSomeone! It wouldn?t of happened otherwise. Sonia :) |

| If you are looking for love and reading this then you too could be as lucky as I have been. After a 9 year relationship my then partner told me he was no longer in love with me and moving back to the UK. I came accross FindSomeone and felt like it was a good way to make new friends if nothing else. After 9 rather unimpressive dates I had given up on the fact that I would find someone that I wanted to spend more than 1 hour with let alone have a second date. Then I met Custom Print Rob, he was a pommie like me, with a great smile, awesome sense of humour and a rather nice coat. On our first date copious amounts of wine was drunk and I knew that I had met someone that I wanted to see again. Lucky enough he felt the same and we met up two days later. Three weeks later he told me he was in love with me, a few months and he asked me to move in. We are coming up to celebrating two years together and we are engaged and have our first baby on our way. So I guess after all that what I am saying is that you dont need to go looking for love to find it just be honest with yourself and others about what you want and hopefully you too will find that special someone as I have. |

| WOW talk about love at first sight. Its funny how one meets your life time partner. Dave and I met after about 3 messages on FSO. As we both live in the same area, we would car pool to the events together. But there was a hitch to the story we were both involved with someone. Both were long distance relationships, so we became only friends and would just go out together. Long story short, Our long distance relationship's ended and within 2 weeks we were in a relationship together. 3 weeks later we were in engaged and will be getting married on the 13th March 2010. |

Because of the details on the FindSomeone website, I knew that we had very similar values and morals and I knew he was just what I was looking for. | I just wanted to thank all at FindSomeone for having portrayed my profile, this isn?t so much about me finding someone on FSO but she found me and referred me back to match dot com via her own email address, but it was many thanks to FSO that this woman had the opportunity to have seen me on this site...six months of emailing, many phone calls, much money paid on overseas phone messages and finally a trip at Christmas time half way across the globe, over seven thousand miles away revealed the love I have been so desperately trying to find and now I have found her and we hit it off like a dream come true.....a message to all don't knock long distant relationships a patient man usually ends up getting what he wants, time reveals, once again many thanks to FSO and all its members. |

| I met Dave back in April, after meeting a few guys - nice, but no spark. After emailing for a few weeks we decided to meet. I was pretty much instantly attracted to his gentle nature, humour, wit and intelligence... and it also helped that he was a bit dishy. Since then everyday has been a happy one. After 4 months we moved in and now we are expecting our first baby. He has shown me that there are actually good guys out there and I think that I have found my Prince!
