When Steven met Curtis

BAY OF PLENTY

Every couple years I update my success story with findsomeone. Curtis and I have now been together for nearly 8 years and our bond grows stronger by the day.

I was a gold member back in 2005/2006 and I received this "smile" from a non-paying member. At first I didn't take much notice but later when I logged back in I thought well... he deserves a reply. Being a non-paying member he couldn't just send me a message, only a smile. So if I didn't send him a message reply, we would never have been where we are today. The best thing in my life to ever happen, was down to a simple smiley face!

He lived in Gisborne and I in Whakatane, we starting commuting between towns for a while before we wanted to live together. It's funny how things are meant to be, because my work was opening a new site in Gisborne and work relocated me to Gisborne! It was Fate.

We lived in Gisborne together for a year before we started talking about maybe moving to Australia. We were happy in Gisborne but we just wanted to get a head financially. We talked about it for a few weeks but couldn't make up our mind whether to go or not, again we left it up to fate and flipped a coin.

Australia won the coin flip and 4 Weeks later we were in Perth starting a new life together! We picked up jobs and we have been with the same jobs ever since. Curtis is a Bank Manager and I'm a buyer for an Electrical Company and we love the work we do and the lifestyle in Western Australia.

In 2012 we purchased our first home together, a 4 by 2 house in Guildford. We have to sometimes pinch ourselves to make sure we are not dreaming. Our life together is moving so fast. Now we have a little puppy keeping us on our toes. We are so lucky and it all started right here on Findsomeone. My Gold Membership was the BEST money I have ever spent. Dreams do come true, they really do.

Thank-you for finding the love of my life!
