Howick cynic meets Howick cynic

Having survived a difficult marriage breakup my confidence and self esteem were at an all time low.

Friends convinced me to create a profile on Findsomeone which I did begrudgingly. After going on a series of spectacularly unsuccessful dates I decided to take a break and remove my account for a while.

So one Monday afternoon after reactivation and as pure luck would have it I received a smile from my prince.

A series of quick emails later followed onto a 4 hour long phone call, where we connected instantly. That conversation was the most witty, beautiful, banter-filled experience of my life and I hung up the phone realising life as I knew it had changed and I was in love. The insane links we had shared ranged from growing up mere streets apart to knowing a number of acquaintances.

The next day we went on our date where I met my partner, soul mate and absolute love of my life.

Now it is important to point out that I was a definite cynic. This falling in love thing did not happen to me and I didn't believe he (my prince) existed and I was destined for a life of solitude with too many cats to count.

Needless to say this has without doubt changed my entire perception of love. From the very bottom of my heart I thank you Findsomeone for finding my perfect one - the one who I will be honoured to marry and spend the rest of my life with.
